We owe our freedom and well-being to the veterans who have fought for our rights and our country. Now it’s time to give something back to those who have spent their lives serving, especially when their own lives are almost ending. Our organization offers hospice care for the men and women who have served our country. Our professionals are trained to care for the special issues and conditions that our veterans face at the end of their time.
There is an estimated number of 22 million veterans living in the United States today. The number of veteran deaths is about 617,000 per year, making up about a fourth of all deaths in the United States. There is an ongoing need for care for these people.
Our mission is to help our veterans during the end of their lives based on the unique care that they require. Most of our veterans have suffered trauma during combat. It is common for these experiences to come back to their awareness during their last days. Our organization is trained to address this in such a way as to offer our veterans a more peaceful time during their end of life.
Benefits for our Veterans
Our organization also addresses other issues of our veterans during their hospice care. Some of these concerns include financial concerns, depression, suicidal thoughts and post-traumatic stress disorder common with life in the military.
Other Important Services
Our organization has an easy referral and admission process. We are familiar with the VA system and work to help our veterans get the benefits they deserve. We offer coverage through the VA, TRICARE, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, as well as private insurance to make hospice care as affordable and easy as possible. We recognize and celebrate important events such as Veteran’s Day to remember all those who have served our country. Finally, our organization doesn’t just support the veterans but their loved ones as well. We offer bereavement and support groups for the loved ones of the veterans that have been lost, as well as memorial services.
If you know someone who has served our country and now needs us to take some time to serve them, let us know. Our organization is here to help in any way we can. A veteran’s life should be celebrated and their last days should be peaceful. Let us help make that happen.
